Choosing an XE395ENT Workout Program – Spirit Fitness Support

Your XE395ENT elliptical comes equipped with a variety of built-in programs as well as the ability to customize your workout based upon your fitness goals. Any program can be labeled as a 'Favorite.' Favorite programs appear on the home screen, so you can access them any time you want.

IMPORTANT: Always consult your physician before participating in any exercise program or regimen.

A note about your console’s calorie display: Your console’s calorie display is to be used as a reference only to monitor improvement from workout to workout. No exercise machine can give you an exact calorie count because there are too many factors which determine exact calorie burn for any particular person. Even if someone is the exact same body weight, age and height, their calorie burn may be very different from yours.

Programs

Programs with predefined resistance and incline changing profiles

Manual Program

A manual program requires a time frame set before starting. Use the scale or arrows to adjust target time. Incline and resistance are adjusted manually while pedaling. Press START to begin workout.

Preset (Built-in) Programs

Preset programs have resistance and incline changing profiles, which you can find on the program preview. Time and maximum speed settings are required.

To get more info on each program, tap on the program preview. In this view, you can scroll to the side to see all the program descriptions of the selected category. Press CHOOSE to select and adjust a program.

Once you choose your maximum incline, the program intensity will adapt accordingly. Press START to begin your workout.

Custom Program

A custom program allows users to create customized resistance and incline changing profiles by sliding up and down on the profile columns. Once the profile is defined, choose target time and maximum incline, so the intensity adapts accordingly.

Templates

Regular programs, saved with your personal adjustments

Every custom program can be saved as a template once adjusted or once completed. Tap 'Save As' to save the custom program as a template. A maximum of twelve (12) template programs can be stored. A template program is only available to the user who created it.

You can manage saved programs by tapping the 'TEMPLATES' category. To delete a template, tap on it, then press 'Delete' in the top right corner.

Any program can be labeled as a "favorite." Favorite programs appear on the home screen, so you can access them anytime you want.
