Unpacking

To remove the bike safely from its packaging, cut the straps along the dotted line on the bottom of the box, then lift the box over the unit and unpack.

Locate the hardware package. The hardware is separated into five steps. Remove the tools first. Remove the hardware for each step as needed to avoid confusion. The numbers in the instructions that are in parenthesis (#) are the item number from the assembly drawing for reference.

CIC800 Step-by-Step Assembly Instructions
1. Front Stabilizer

a. Gather all hardware needed for this step.
b. Position the front stabilizer (1) on the frame bracket as showed in the figure. Make sure the transport wheels are facing up and toward the front of the bike.
c. Attach the stabilizer with two hex screws (#3), four flat washers (#4) and two Nylon nuts (#5). Do not over tightened as the deformation of stabilizer may occur.
d. Make sure the leveling feet with nut are fully screwed into the stabilizer.
2. Rear Stabilizer

a. Gather all hardware needed for this step.
b. Position the rear stabilizer (2) on the frame bracket as showed in the figure. Make sure the transport wheels are facing up and toward the front of the bike.
c. Attach the stabilizer with two hex screws (#3), four flat washers (#4) and two Nylon nuts (#5). Do not over tightened as the deformation of stabilizer may occur.
d. Make sure the leveling feet with nut are fully screwed into the stabilizer.
3. Bottle Holder

a. Gather all hardware needed for this step.
b. Assemble the bottle holder (12) with two socket hex screws (#11) and two flat washers (#13).
4. Handlebar
a. Gather all hardware needed for this step.
b. Pull out the safety pin (2) and slide the handlebar onto the post (11).
c. Insert the handlebar into the frame tube and tighten firmly with the star-pop pin.
5. Pedals
a. Remove pedals from the components box.
b. Look at the end of the pedal axle and notice each pedal is marked with an R and L on the spindle. It is indicated which side of bike the pedal is intended to assemble.
c. Locate the pedal marked R on the spindle on the right side of crank (Chain guard side). Turn clockwise to tighten firmly. If possible, apply some grease to the threads before engaging to the crank.
d. Locate the pedal marked L on the spindle on the Left side of crank. Turn counter-clockwise to tighten firmly. If possible, apply some grease to the threads before engaging to the crank.
