If your treadmill shows the "LS" error code, or if after calibrating your treadmill it continues to operate inconsistently, you may need to check the treadmill's speed sensor's alignment.
To adjust the speed sensor:
- Remove the motor cover hood by loosening the eight (8) screws that hold it in place. Set aside.
- The speed sensor is located on the left side of the frame, right next to the front roller pulley
(the pulley will have a belt around it that also goes to the motor). The speed sensor is a small
rectangular shaped black box with a wire connected to it. - You will see a magnet on the outside edge of the pulley; make sure the speed sensor is
aligned with the center of the magnet when it passes by. There are two (2) screws that hold
the sensor in place that need to be loosened to adjust the sensor. Re-tighten the screws when
finished.
