How to Calibrate Your MT200

Your treadmill settings allow you to calibrate your treadmill in the event that the speed and incline settings need to be adjusted. To calibrate your MT200 treadmill:

  1. Press and hold the START, STOP, and ENTER keys at the same time and continue holding for approximately five (5) seconds to enter Maintenance Mode (may also be called Engineering Mode depending on software version).
  2. When the console displays "MAINTENANCE MODE" (or "ENGINEERING MODE"), press ENTER.
  3. Using the up/down keys, scroll through the menu and select DRIVE MOTOR, and then CALIBRATION by pressing ENTER.
  4. The console will display "START LEFT SIDE." Press START.
  5. The console will display "AD _ _ _  TGT 65." During calibration, the treadmill speaker will beep at a slow pace when the magnet distance is too far, beep quickly when too near, and will hold a steady tone when correct. Press ENTER to continue.
  6. The console will display "START RIGHT SIDE." Press START.
  7. The console will display "AD _ _ _ TGT 65." During calibration, the treadmill speaker will beep at a slow pace when the magnet distance is too far, beep quickly when too near, and will hold a steady tone when correct.
  8. Press ENTER or STOP to end calibration.

To adjust factory default settings:

  1. Press and hold the START and SPEED UP (+) at the same time and continue holding for approximately five (5) seconds to enter the Factory Settings menu.
  2. When the console displays "FACTORY SETTINGS," press ENTER.
  3. Using the up/down keys, scroll through the functions menu to adjust the settings.

Units: The default setting is Imperial (miles). Users can toggle using the up/down keys to select Metric (kilometers).

Minimum Speed: Default value is 0.1mph and can be adjusted up to 0.5mph.

Maximum Speed: Default value is 10.0mph and can be adjusted down to 3.0mph.

Maximum Reverse Speed: Default value is 3.0mph and can be adjusted down to 1.0mph, and up to 5.0mph.

Belt Speed Acceleration: The default is 0:03 seconds and will be shown in the time window. The time can be adjusted down to 0:01 second and up to 1:00 minute.

Belt Speed Deceleration: The default is 0:03 seconds and will be shown in the time window. The time can be adjusted down to 0:01 second and up to 1:00 minute.

Grade Calibration: Press ENTER to begin (automatic). To exit, press STOP.

Maximum Incline: The default value is 15 and can be adjusted down to 10.

Maximum Decline: The default value is 5 and can be adjusted up to 10.
